Chris Moon OBE is a remarkable figure whose life story exemplifies resilience, courage, and a relentless commitment to helping others. A former British Army officer, Chris transitioned from military service to become a humanitarian worker with the HALO Trust, where he specialized in landmine clearance in some of the world’s most dangerous conflict zones, including Cambodia and Mozambique.
In 1995, while supervising a de-mining operation in Mozambique, Chris was seriously injured by a landmine, resulting in the loss of his right arm and leg. Despite this life-altering event, Chris's indomitable spirit led him to not only recover but to push beyond the limits of what many thought possible. His story is a testament to the power of the human spirit to overcome adversity.
After his injury, Chris became an advocate for disability rights and began a career as a motivational speaker, sharing his experiences to inspire others to overcome their own challenges.
